Jamaica Inn - Publication Date I have been asked a question about the specific UK publication date of Jamaica Inn. The gentleman who contacted me with this question has a signed copy dated 9th March 1936 and wants to know if this is the day the book was published. Cortana can't help, offering 1935 or 1936 ! It's possible there's confusion between Gollancz (UK) and Doubleday (US). Best Wishes
