I haven't come across any mention on that particular subject. And I would like to think Daphné was an animal lover and so, would have been against that practice. Interestingly, in 2022, the establishment "Jamaica Inn" took the decision to ban hunts from meeting on their land. The practice had been allowed 100 years.
