Dr Serena Trowbridge has again been working with her final-year students at Birmingham City University, studying a module on Gothic Literature. Three of the students who attained the highest marks for their essays have generously agreed to share their papers on the subject with us on the Daphne du Maurier website.
Each essay is a fine piece of writing, and, as a group, they provide a broad look at Gothic Literature and the place that Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca takes in that genre.
