Waterstones Publishes Its List of The Greatest Time Travel Tales Of All Time
This week, Waterstones published its list of the greatest time travel tales of all time. It's a fabulous list including early classics such as The Time Machine by H.G. Wells and A Connecticut Yankee at King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain; more recent classics such as Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut; recent popular titles such as The Midnight Library by Matt Haig and The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, and many more.
The most exciting book on the list from our point of view, here at the Daphne du Maurier website, is The House on the Strand by Daphne du Maurier. Thank you, Waterstones, for including it.
The House on the Strand is, without a doubt, one of Daphne du Maurier's finest novels and is probably the least well-known of her Cornish books. However, once people have read it, it nearly always becomes their favourite of all Daphne's novels. If you haven't read it, get a copy and put it at the top of your reading pile.
