Flower Festival at St Clement Church, Truro – May Bank Holiday Weekend
The Daphne du Maurier display and flower arrangement
Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, the church of St Clement, Truro, is holding a Flower Festival with the theme - Cornwall - Its Places, Traditions and Culture. The church is decorated with many beautiful displays representing such diverse areas relating to Cornwall as the Mermaid of Zennor, the sword of King Arthur in the stone; Cornish cream and the life and work of Derek Tangye.
Inside St Clement Church
One of the most beautiful displays is all about Daphne du Maurier, with pictures of her, a selection of her books and a gorgeous flower arrangement. We are sure Daphne would have approved because she loved filling her home with vases of flowers.
Outside St Clement Church
St. Clement is a beautiful little village, and when we were there, it was bathed in sunlight, which made it even more special.
