Eva Leung is a College Senior Lecturer at HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College. She received her PhD in English from the University of Hong Kong, and her doctoral research is on the novels by Daphne du Maurier, with a particular focus on narratology and the relationship between the Tale and the Reader.
Eva has written for the Daphne du Maurier website on a number of occasions. Recently, she has been working on some reviews of Daphne du Maurier's books, pitching them at non-academics by writing them for people who may not have read Daphne's works before and by keeping them short and simple.
She feels that Daphne du Maurier's works as modern classics should be more popular, and she tries to promote her other brilliant works that can get overshadowed by Rebecca.
Today, we bring you Eva's thirteenth review, in which she discusses Daphne du Maurier's novel The House on the Strand.
