Eva Leung is a College Senior Lecturer at HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College, Hong Kong.  She received her PhD in English from the University of Hong Kong, and her doctoral research is on the novels by Daphne du Maurier, with a particular focus on narratology and the relationship between the Tale and the Reader.  Her research interests include the novel, contemporary fiction, popular writing, creative writing, and women's writing.

She has been working on some reviews of Daphne du Maurier's books, for us to share with you through the Daphne du Maurier website.  She has pitched them to non-academics by writing them for people who may not have read her works before and by keeping them short and simple.

Eva feels that Daphne du Maurier's works as modern classics should be more popular, and she tries to promote her other brilliant works that can get overshadowed by Rebecca.

In her fourteenth review, she discusses Daphne du Maurier's last novel, Rule Britannia.
