Fowey Festival Young Writers and Artists Competition 2017
Every year the trustees of the Daphne du Maurier Festival Society organise a competition for young people as part of the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature.
The theme this year is: The Quay
Create a picture, a poem, a story or all three.
Poem and story entries should be on A4 paper or submitted online.
Poems can be up to 20 lines and short stories can be up to 200 words
Pictures must be A4 or square (21cm x 21cm) on paper or card
Closing date is 24th March 2017
Entry is free
The competition is open to young artists & writers up to 16 years
Prizes totalling £500 will be presented at the Fowey Festival of Arts & Literature, 6th – 13th May 2017
