Netflix adaptation of Rebecca - news

Late last year it was announced that Lily James and Armie Hammer had been cast in the roles of the second Mrs de Winter and Maxim in Ben Wheatley’s Netflix/Working Title adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s most famous novel Rebecca, with the screenplay to be written by Jane Goldman.

There was much speculation as to who would play the role of Mrs Danvers, and in May we were able to announce that Kristin Scott Thomas had been cast in that role.

Now that filming is underway on the new adaptation of Rebecca, the Daphne du Maurier website is delighted to reveal more details about the cast and the parts they are playing.
