Richard & Judy: Keep Reading and Carry On is a new programme starting today (Monday 4th May 2020) and screening each afternoon until Friday, at 5-30pm on Channel 4. Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan are well known to millions of people for their daytime television programmes and the Richard and Judy Book Club. Fans of the Fowey Festival will also have seen them speak at our literary festival in Fowey.
Richard and Judy are both avid readers, and passionately believe that books can transport you to incredible places from the comfort of your own sofa. So, that is what they will do, broadcasting from their own home, they will share top choices for lockdown reads with the help of viewers, celebrity guests and well-loved authors, so that you too can escape into a book of their recommendation.
Best of all, a little bird has told us that, Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier will be one of the books they discuss this week.
