This week in the Muddy Stilettos occasional series, My Fave Places, we find Dr Laura Varnam in du Maurier Country.
Daphne du Maurier, as we are sure you already know, was one of Cornwall's best-known writers and her books are pretty much synonymous with the Duchy. As the new film adaption of Rebecca screens this week Dr Laura Varnam picks her favourite du Maurier inspired places.
In the article, Laura takes us through Fowey, from the Bodinnick Ferry to the beautiful statue of the Rook with a Book, on Town Quay, then on to Readymoney Cove. Next, she takes along the Hall Walk from Bodinnick to Polruan, off to Tywardreath and finally further west to the Helford River.
