A huge thank you to Laura Varnam for running our Twitter account

In May 2016, du Maurier expert and enthusiast Laura Varnam started the Daphne du Maurier Twitter account on behalf of the Daphne du Maurier website. During the five years, she has been responsible for it, she is proud to have gained over 3,700 followers. These followers include some of our favourite writers - Joanna Cannon, Liz Fenwick, Patrick Gale, Diane Setterfield, Tatiana de Rosnay, Amanda Craig, and many more. Also following Daphne’s Twitter page are many people and businesses local to Fowey and further afield in Cornwall, regular visitors to the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature, and Daphne du Maurier enthusiasts from around the country and across the world.
So, it is with sadness that we have to tell you that, due to work commitments, Laura is no longer able to continue running the Twitter account. We want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for all the hard work Laura has put in during the last five years and for all those wonderful snippets of information she has brought to the website and to all Daphne’s followers out there. We wish Laura every success in the future and hope that she will continue to contribute to the website if time permits.
