All 40 episodes can be found and watched on the BBC iPlayer for free. I am currently watching it on the Food channel in England.

In response to queries about Rick Stein in Du Maurier Country, this was a fifty-minute, one-off programme broadcast on BBC2 at 8.10pm on 12th May 2007 as part of the celebration of Daphne du Maurier’s centenary year. It was repeated on BBC1 on Friday 1st June 2007 but has not been broadcast again since then. In the programme, Rick Stein paid a personal tribute to Daphne du Maurier by visiting the locations in Cornwall that she brought to life in her books. The documentary included interviews with her three children, Nigel Havers and some people local to Fowey. There was a discussion about Alfred Hitchcock’s adaptations of her works and some footage of Daphne herself. It was directed and produced by David Pritchard. Sadly, the programme was not released on DVD. Much more recently, Rick Stein has presented three series of Rick Stein’s Cornwall, in which he travels through Cornwall and discusses subjects including history, art and culture with the people he meets and tries the local cuisine. Series one was first broadcast on BBC2 in January 2021, the second series in January 2022 and the third series in February 2023. Each episode was thirty minutes long, and each series had 15 episodes. The first forty of these forty-five episodes are currently available on the BBC Iplayer (January 2024). There are a number of references to Daphne du Maurier within these three series, but they do not include any of the content of Rick Stein in Du Maurier Country, which people are unable to find. If there is anyone out there with an original recording of it, it would be great if they would put a post on this Forum.
