Plymouth newspaper article on Du Maurier's King's General
We were very interested to read this article in the Plymouth Herald about du Maurier's 1946 novel 'The King's General'. Although much of the book centres around the Menabilly estate, Plymouth and the surrounding area has an important role to play in the events of the Civil War as depicted in the book. This newspaper article discusses Neill Mitchell's research on the Radford Estate, including his correspondence with Du Maurier.
