It has been a fantastic week at the Fowey Festival! All of us at the Daphne du Maurier website were delighted to see that Daphne's works were at the heart of the Festival programme this year. Thank you to the Festival director, Brenda Daly, the Festival board and all the speakers who worked so hard to bring us a wonderful selection of du Maurier events- and thanks to all of the many du Maurier fans who joined us to share their knowledge and passion. The unveiling of the new public artwork in Fowey to celebrate the work of Daphne du Maurier was featured on ITV News West Country this week. The sculpture was unveiled by Daphne's son Kits Browning and has been nicknamed 'the rook with a book'. The artwork was unveiled to launch the Fowey Festival programme for 2018.
